High Country is hiring! We have openings at all four retail locations as well as the Paddle Shack.  Your passion for adventure is exactly what we're looking for. The High Country Paddle Shack in Sandy Springs


Paddle Shack Manager (Click for application)- Lead the team at The HC Paddle shack located on The Chattahoochee River at Morgan Falls Park in Sandy Springs, GA!

  • Provide a high level of customer service on behalf of The Paddle Shack & High Country Outfitters at all times
  • Hiring and scheduling of 6-10 Paddle Shack Employees
  • Must have prior experience managing a staff of 6+ employees
  • Organization, purchasing, and maintenance of Shack supplies
  • Website and reservation system maitenance and organization
  • Must be available on Thursday -Sunday April 15th-October 1st
  • First Aid & CPR required (High Country can provide training if certification is not up to date)
  • Must have previous experience with kayaks/canoes/standup paddleboards
  • 40 hours per week

Paddle Shack Boat Handler (Click for application)- Spend the summer outside and on the water on the Chattahoochee River! Currently 6 positions available

  • Provide a high level of customer service on behalf of The Paddle Shack & High Country Outfitters at all times
  • Must be 16 years old
  • Must be available weekends May-September
  • All Shack employees must possess a love for the water and a passion for teaching and educating!
  • 20-40 hours per week

High Country Athens Guide/Sales Associate (Click for application) - We are actively searching for full time and part time employees that are looking to grow in our industry and move up quickly on our team.

  • Provide a high level of customer service on and off of our retail sales floor
  • Grow customer relationships and the outdoor lifestyle in the East Cobb community
  • A passion for the outdoor lifestyle is a must!
  • 20-35 hours per week. Must be available on weekends

 

 

High Country Outfitters at The Avenue In East Cobb

High Country Avenue Guide/Sales Associate (Click for application) - We are actively searching for full time and part time employees that are looking to grow in our industry and move up quickly on our team.

  • Provide a high level of customer service on and off of our retail sales floor
  • Grow customer relationships and the outdoor lifestyle in the East Cobb community
  • A passion for the outdoor lifestyle is a must!

High Country Outfitters in Buckhead


High Country Buckhead Guide/Sales Associate (Click for application) - We are actively searching for full time and part time employees that are looking to grow in our industry and move up quickly on our team.

  • Provide a high level of customer service on and off of our retail sales floor
  • Grow customer relationships and the outdoor lifestyle in the Buckhead community
  • A passion for the outdoor lifestyle is a must!
  • 20-35 hours per week. Must be available on weekends

Marketing/Web Intern (Click for application) - We are actively searching for students perusing degrees who need experience in their respective fields.  Join a fast-growing team and learn to grow an online and brick-and-mortar retail store.

  • Work directly with High Country's Founder and CEO, and General Manager of Operations
  • Assist in launching new website
  • Must have or be actively pursuing a degree
  • Organize marketing plan and strategy, and execute digital and in-store marketing campaigns
  • Design of web and print ads.
  • Skills required: Basic Coding, HTML, Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, Wordpress or similiar web platforms.
  • Must be proficienct with Microsoft Excel
  • 20-30 hours per week. Paid!

 

 

High Country Outfitters at Ansley Mall in Midtown

High Country Midtown Guide/Sales Associate (Click for application) - We are actively searching for full time and part time employees that are looking to grow in our industry and move up quickly on our team.

  • Provide a high level of customer service on and off of our retail sales floor
  • Grow customer relationships and the outdoor lifestyle in the Atlanta community
  • A passion for the outdoor lifestyle is a must!
  • 20-35 hours per week. Must be available on weekends
