After 4 years at Auburn University and 1 year in the The Tetons, John was named our General Manager and is in charge of daily operations. When he's not in the shop, you can find John paddling on the Hooch, surfing in the ocean, or climbing in the mountains. "A wise man was told me, never say no to a trip."

Warren loves talking gear and Big Green Egg with anyone and everyone, and would love to show you which jacket is right for you or how to cook the perfect steak. He has also traveled abroad extensively, so come talk to him about your next trip! When not in the shop, Warren can be found trying his hand at climbing, stand up paddleboarding on the 'Hooch, or enjoying some live music from Athens and back.

Marley is High Country's Sweetheart! The Buckhead Store is her home, but if you're lucky, you can catch her coppin' a belly rub at the East Cobb location.
Our Esteemed Floor Staff
"The tall girl with the strange accent...and before you ask...I'm from the Czech Republic. I've been part of the High Country team for 7 years. If you have questions about local hikes alongside the Chattahoochee - I'll probably have the answer.
So far I've managed to visit over 20 countries on 3 continents, 25 out of 58 US national parks...and I'm running out of refrigerator space for all my magnets.
Have been climbing for the past 12 years, indoors and all around southeast. Favorite place to climb? Red River Gorge and Foster Falls! Lately I've been trying my luck with stand up paddleboarding."
