Sales Associate/Guide Roles

The Role:

Guides are the face of High Country and are what makes our store so special. The primary job of our guides is to provide excellent customer service and inspire our customers to get outside. Guides are trained with new product knowledge, given opportunities to try new products, and encouraged to spend time outside when not at work.

Duties:

  • Provide outstanding customer service
  • Merchandise products and assist with product displays
  • Assist with online orders

Requirements:

  • Ability to lift up to 35 lbs (paddleboards, kayaks)
  • Weekend Availability (must be available a minimum of 2 weekends of each month)
  • Holiday Availability
  • People skills

Recommended Pre-qualifications:

  • Sales (recommended but not necessary)
  • Outdoor and/or Travel experience
  • Product Knowledge (recommended but not necessary)
  • Passionate

Paddle Shack Guide Roles

The Role:

Paddle Guides are the face of our SUP board and kayak rental operation. The primary job of our guides is to provide excellent customer service, educate customers on paddle techniques and provide a safe and fun rental experience. Guides are trained on all rental crafts, and encouraged to spend time outside when not at work.

Duties:

  • Provide a high level of customer service to our customers and other park users
  • Support our customers in the selection of rental equipment
  • Provide briefs to customers on basic safety, weather, navigation, and equipment use
  • Ensure that all rental equipment is clean and safe to use

Requirements:

  • Have a CPR certification or be willing to attain one
  • A passion for the outdoor lifestyle is a must!
  • Available through October 2020

Warehouse Assistant Roles

The Role:

Join a dedicated team of highly motivated individuals who strive for the ultimate in customer service by expediting the receiving and distribution of goods to our retail locations. We are looking for highly organized people who enjoy accomplishing tasks.

Duties:

  • Sorting, tagging, and distributing new merchandise
  • Building and delivering Big Green Eggs
  • Making local deliveries to our retail locations

Requirements:

  • Clean driving record
  • Highly organized
  • Ability to lift boxes 50 lbs and under
  • Be able to work from our Buckhead location
  • Availability Mon-Fri, 9am-6:30pm
