RETURN POLICY

VISIT ANY OF OUR HIGH COUNTRY OUTFITTERS LOCATIONS FOR HASSLE FREE RETURNS AND EXCHANGES

We strive to provide the highest quality gear and apparel we can find. However, if for any reason your purchase isn’t what you wanted our return policy is here to meet those expectations!

ONLINE RETURN POLICY

Before you begin a return, please be sure your return meets the following requirements:
  • Orders are eligible for return or exchange up to 30 days after the order date (except during our Holiday Return Period, see below):
  • HOLIDAY RETURN PERIOD: Orders made in store or online on or after November 1, 2023, are eligible for return or exchange up to 30 days after the order date or through January 5, 2024, whichever is later. 
  • Must contain original receipt or Order Number
  • Clearance items (50% off or greater) are not available for refunds but are eligible for exchange / store credit. 
  • All footwear may be tried on indoors in order to determine proper fit. Shoes worn outside will not be eligible for returns or exchanges. Must also return original shoe box inside of an outer box. Do not use the shoe box as the shipping box.
  • All returned merchandise must be in new, unused, unwashed condition, and must have all associated tags and original packaging.
  • Due to safety and hygienic concerns there are NO returns on:
  • Climbing Gear
  • Undergarments (underwear)
  • Water Filters
  • Used or worn items
  • Face Masks or Filters
  • Theraguns

All returns that meet the above requirements will be issued a refund to the original method of payment or may be exchanged for other items!

To begin your return or exchange and create a shipping label, please use our Return Portal and have your Order Number and Zip Code or Email ready (found on the packing slip and Order Confirmation email or text).

The cost of the return shipping will be a flat $9.95 fee, deducted from your return refund. If making an exchange, we will provide free shipping on the exchanged items. Free Returns and Exchanges are available in person at any one of our High Country retail locations.

BOTE, Hemlock Hats, and Pick up Only items are not eligible for the flat-rate Portal fee and will have the full cost of return postage deducted from any refund or store credit issued, if a Return Portal label is used to ship the item(s) back. Onewheels are not eligible for return or exchange but are covered by Onewheel's Warranty

**Returns valued over $300 will require the customer to ship their return using their own shipping service and label. Due to an increase in return fraud, High Country Outfitters reserves the right to decline providing a shipping label for any return at its discretion. No fee will be deducted from your refund total. The return shipping address can be found on the original shipping label or by contacting customercare@highcountyoutfitters.com.

 

PRICE ADJUSTMENTS

May be requested within 14 business days of your original order date, if an item of the same season, style, color, and size is in stock. 

LOST / MISSING DELIVERY

Or item(s) missing in your shipment? Lost or Misdelivered Packages / Items may be eligible for partial and/or full reimbursement. Please reach out to us at customercare@highcountryoutfitters.com within two business days of your UPS / USPS delivery date so that we can file a claim with the carrier and get you set up for success with a refund or replacement. 

IN-STORE RETURN POLICY

No returns on climbing equipment, Underwear, Onewheels, or Water Filters.

  • Returns & exchanges on Regular Priced merchandise must be made within 30 days of purchase.
  • Returns & exchanges on Sale Merchandise (less than 50% off) must be made within 10 days of purchase.
  • HOLIDAY RETURN PERIOD: Orders made in store or online on or after November 1, 2023, of Regular Priced and Sale merchandise are eligible for return or exchange up to 30 days after the order date or through January 5, 2024, whichever is later. 
  • No returns or exchanges on Clearance Items (50% off or greater)
  • All returns & exchanges must be in unused condition, accompanied by a receipt or record in the customer database, have all associated tags, parts, and accessories.
